The NITRO suits are constructed from 100% West Ultra-span Gen-3 neoprene and are available with GBS or Flatlock seams. In the GBS steamers the Nitro has both a batwing and poly-pro. These provide you with added features that similarly priced suits don’t offer, giving you more value for your money.

FLATLOCK SEAMS West uses Flatlock seams in the lower-end or warm water suits. The neoprene is over lapped and the needle and thread is sewn completely through both layers. The upside is that it is a quick and inexpensive way to manufacture a wetsuit. The downside is that the suit is not water tight once the thread and needle sew completely through the neoprene. Benefits for the surfer: a cost effective wetsuit allowing for com- fortable surfing in warmer waters.
