Please note there is a minimum of 5 participants required per departure date. Do not make travel arrangements until Chockstone Climbing has confirmed departure.
If you're flying, please arrive by 1pm, your guides will greet you at the Bend/Redmond airport. If you're driving, meet your group at the bivouac area of Smith Rock State Park. The day's activities will begin at 2pm.
Basic rock climbing skills are necessary, and all guests should be able to climb a 5.6 grade comfortably.
Chockstone supplies all of the climbing equipment you’ll need, including a harness, helmet, and climbing shoes. You’re welcome to bring your own gear, if you prefer. You’ll need to bring your own clothing (shorts, tights, loose-fitting pants, or sweatpants are appropriate), as well as a backpack with a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, and extra lightweight, packable clothing. Rugged outdoor footwear is recommended.
You’ll be sleeping in a personal tent at Smith Rock State Park (please bring your own sleeping bag and pad). There are showers and outlets for charging electronics at the campground.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all trips. Travel insurance allows you to seek reimbursement if you are forced to cancel your trip for unforeseeable reasons, or if you need to cover medical help, emergency transport, and/or theft or accidental damage while traveling. The Clymb Adventures has partnered with World Nomads to offer flexible, best-in-class insurance options tailored to your specific needs. Instant quotes available here: World Nomads Travel Insurance
You may cancel reservations up to 72 hours after the booking is made. After that time period, all modifications/cancellations will be granted solely at the discretion of Chockstone Climbing. Cancellation processing fees may apply.
