THIS ADVENTURE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
This classic Moab trip features dramatic canyons, sandstone layers, majestic red rocks, and of course... epic mountain biking.
This classic four-day tour is a must for anyone visiting Utah’s canyon country, offering a perfect combination of great riding and spectacular scenery. The White Rim trail, located in the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park, is truly a special place. You’ll ride along the White Rim layer of sandstone with dramatic canyons below and majestic red rock cliffs above. The trail meanders through arches, towers, and other fantastic rock formations. Your guides will lead you on bike and on foot to explore the hidden treasures that the White Rim offers. Visit an Indian dwelling of ancient times, or perhaps trek into a slot canyon disappearing into the desert sandstone.
Meet and ride
Meet your guides at their headquarters in Moab at 8:30 a.m. the morning your itinerary begins. They’ll go over park rules and provide a continental breakfast (if you prefer something more substantial, they can recommend local diners). Load your gear into the support truck and shuttle to the ride’s jumping-off point about 35 miles away. Ride roughly 20 miles to your first campsite, set up camp, and relax! Your guides will take care of all the details—preparing hors d’oeuvres and cooking up a healthy dinner. Lounge around camp with their book library or set out for a hike to explore the surroundings before turning in for the evening.
Ride and hike
Head out of camp by 9 a.m. and spend your days riding, with time for interesting side hikes that include exploring a slot canyon and Anasazi Indian ruins. The trail features mostly moderate terrain on fun doubletrack trails. There are a few challenging sections with several short but steep climbs and descents. Breakfast and dinner will be prepared at the campsite, and while on the trail the guides will prepare a full buffet lunch. There will be opportunities for short hikes under the moonlight or relaxing around camp gazing at countless stars in the evening.
Ride and return to Moab
Around mid-afternoon, reach the end of the trail, where a Rim Tours vehicle will be waiting to shuttle you back to Moab.

Rim Tours realizes that guests' vacations time is valuable and feel truly privileged to have earned the opportunity to provide adventures of a lifetime!
I just finished an amazing mountain bike trip with Rim Tours out of Moab. We spent 3 days and 2 nights in Canyonlands National Park riding the White Rim Trail. The scenery was unbelievable and the riding was fun with just the right amount of tough climbs and rocky descents. The camping spots were incredible - right at the edge of vertical canyon walls. Rim Tours was extremely well organized, provided all of the rental equipment (top quality bikes and camping gear), and provided all of the food you could eat/drink for the entire trip. (They cooked up some REALLY GREAT meals!!) They provided 2 guides - one in a support vehicle and one on a bike that were constantly available if needed. These guys worked their butts off all 3 days to make the trip a great experience. I only wish I had made it a 5 day trip.

If you are looking for a sweet ride and for being well taken care of and well fed along the journey in the desert then look no farther. If you are looking for a memorable way to see the desert (White Rim/Grand Canyon) then stop looking you found it! Rim Tours handles all the details so you can just show up ride and enjoy the scenery. On my tour we have folks young as college aged all the way to retired marine-fun for all ages and if you can't keep up you can always hope on the slow bus that follows the group with supplies. The total ride sounds long but each day you only ride 20 or so miles and there is time at then end of the day to explore and enjoy relaxing by camp.

This was our second Rim Tours mountain biking multi-day trip, and we had a great trip (as expected!). Rim tours provides outstanding service and delivers a memorable vacation. The guides are outstanding, the trials wonderful, the bikes awesome and the food better than we eat at home.
